Our most popular non-manifolded midship pump, the DSD uses the reliable G gearbox. All of Hale’s midship pumps utilizes the G gearbox to deliver superior water flow. The DSD produces up to 2000 GPM from hydrant with sufficient horsepower. The DSD standouts against the competition.
Features
- Generates NFPA 1901 rated flows from 750 GPM (2839 L/min) to 1500 GPM (5678 L/min) from draft
- Hard, fine grain bronze, mixed flow impeller design is hand ground and balanced for maximum performance
- For minimal maintenance the spring-loaded mechanical seal is self-adjusting and self-lubricating
- Heavy duty precision ground, deep groove bearings used for long-life
- Heat treated one piece stainless steel pump shaft has been designed for strength and to minimize pump deflection
- Bronze clearance ring is easily replaceable
- Also available with optional SmartCAFS
